Amala Paul, who was targeted by the infamous #SuchiLeaks earlier this year, reportedly joked about not being able to see her video. Speaking to the Times of India, the actress said that she was “sad” at not being able to see the video
Rumours of Amala and Dhanush having an affair had been doing the rounds as well. However, Amala told the Times of India that she does not let things like that affect her, as otherwise she wouldn’t be able to move on in life. She added that even her ex-husband, director AL Vijay, was good friends with Dhanush.
#SuchiLeaks became a trending hashtag in South India in the last week of February this year, when popular RJ/singer Suchi (Suchitra Karthik) alleged that she had been manhandled by actor Dhanush’s security team. While claiming that her account had been hacked, a few days late, photos of actors and actresses in a compromising position were posted in her account. Some of the victims of the leak were Dhanush, Anirudh Ravichander, Sanchita Shetty, Andrea Jeremiah, Trisha, Hansika Motwani, and several others.
Amala will be seen acting alongside Dhanush in Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Velailla Pattathari 2 (VIP 2). She also has a few other Tamil films in the pipeline, including Minmini, Thiruttu Payale 2, and Bhaskar The Rascal. Additionally, she is working on an untitled Malayalam adventure film with Vinodh K and, according to reports, a Telugu film with director Puri Jagannadh.
