Actress Anjali will star opposite Jayam Ravi in director Suraj’s next movie. The as yet untitled film went on the floors recently and is reportedly a high octane action film. Director Suraj, known for Maapillai and Padikkadhavan, will helm this movie while Lakshmi Movie Makers is bankrolling it. Anjali will arrive later this week to begin shooting for the project.
The actress took a break from the Tamil film industry after a dispute with her former mentor, Mu Kalanjiyam over her refusal to continue acting in his film, Oor Sutri Puranam. The director has lodged a complaint with the director’s union and has asked them to help resolve the issue. The members of the director’s union are currently in talks with the actress, and her participation in the Suraj project will hinge on their decision.
