Anushka Sharma and Arjun Kapoor will soon be seen in NH 10 director Navdeep Singh’s next film, titled Kaneda. The film also marks Anushka’s third production after NH 10 and Phillauri.
According to a Firstpost report, Kaneda will be a dark-gritty thriller, following the path of NH 10. A gangster saga, the film will revolve around a Punjabi mafia gang based in Canada. Although there were several rumours of Kapoor not being part of the project, reports suggest that it has been confirmed that the two will finally team up for the first time in this film.

Meanwhile, Sharma’s Phillauri trailer is expected to be releasing some time this month. Anushka will be seen sharing screen space with Diljith Dosanjh and Life of Pi actor Suraj Sharma in Phillauri. Currently, she is working on Imtiaz Ali’s next with Shah Rukh Khan, titled Rehnuma.
Arjun Kapoor, last seen in Ki & Ka with Kareena, has two films in the pipeline – Half Girlfriend with Shraddha Kapoor and Mubarakan, co-starring his uncle Anil Kapoor.
