Actors Anushka Shetty and Vijay Deverakonda may soon collaborate for a project, according to Hindustan Times report on Monday. This is the first time the two actors would be seen sharing screen space.

Shetty, critically acclaimed for her role as Princess Devasena from the blockbuster series Baahubali (2015) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), has worked predominantly in both Telugu and Tamil films. The actor, who recently made her debut on Twitter, posted a picture asking her fans to follow her “for some interesting updates in the coming days”.
Meanwhile, earlier this year filmmaker Gautam Vasudev Menon announced Ondraga, sequel to Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, starring Shetty and R Madhavan in crucial roles. Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya starred Trisha Krishnan and Simbu in lead roles.
