According to reliable sources, composer and singer AR Rahman has been approached by the team of ‘Vijay 59’ to sing a single song in the movie. Now that talks have been initiated, an official announcement is expected soon.
Currently, AR Rahman is working on his concert in the UK. The concert has been slated for August 15. The composer has just returned to India for the Ramadan celebrations, after a one-month stay in North America.

Fondly called ‘Vijay 59’, the film is directed by Atlee (of Raja Rani fame), and has on board music director GV Prakash. Recently, popular Gaana singer Deva recorded a song for the movie, which will start rolling from June 26. Meanwhile, AR Rahman is also busy scoring for Gautham Menon’s Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada and Vikram Kumar’s 24.
