After the release of the psychological thriller Kaali, directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, Vijay Anotony has yet another thriller flick up his sleeve. Directed by the Andrew Louis, of Leelai fame, Kolaikaran is touted to be a crime thriller.

According to The Times of India, Arjun Sarja, who received appreciation for his negative role in the Vishal starrer- Irumbu Thirai, has bagged a pivotal role in Kolaikaran. While the makers of the film are yet to make an official announcement about the complete cast and crew, shooting for the film is expected to begin from June.
Vijay Antony will be composing the music for the film, while lyricist Thamizhanangu, who made his debut with Kaali, has been roped in to pen the lyrics. On the work front, Vijay Antony has a good line-up, including Thimiru Pudichavan and Traffic Ramaswamy.
