In what is surely manna from heaven for screaming teenage girls across the globe, the powers that be have green lit production on a One Direction based popular fan fiction novel titled After. The story, which bears strong resemblance to among many things Fifty Shades of Grey, deals with ‘the virginal Tessa’s relationship with the tattooed Harry’.
Producers Jennifer Gibgot and Adam Shankman have brought in Mom writer Susan McMartin to adapt it for the big screen. Considering her work on shows such as Two and a Half Men and Mom, we are safe in hoping for a movie adaptation that would not turn out to be as turgid as Fifty Shades.
