Known for delivering super-hits including Annamalai, Veera and perhaps best known as the director of Baasha, Suresh Krissna is now turning producer. Not for films, but for a television serial called Arangetram.
Confirming the news to Silverscreen, the director said, “the script was intriguing. The serial deals with a rape victim who survives; but only faces stigma. The script deals with the trauma faced by the victims and their families.” However, he refused to divulge any further details about the story or the rest of the crew.
Arangetram will air on Puthuyugam Channel from May 26, at 8 pm.
