The 17th edition of International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards, 2016, was held in Madrid on Saturday. The event saw close to 150 Bollywood actors in attendance. Here is a round-up of the winners of the night.
Kabir Khan’s Salman Khan-starrer Bajranji Bhaijaan bagged the Best Film award. The award for best actor (male) went to Ranveer Singh for Bajirao Mastani and the one for best actor (female) went to Deepika Padukone for Piku.

The best actor in supporting role(male) went to Anil Kapoor for Dil Dhadakne Do and the best actor in supporting role(female) was awarded to Priyanka Chopra for Bajirao Mastani.
The best actor in negative role went to Darshan Kumar for NH10. The best performance in comic role went to Deepak Dobriyal for Tanu Weds Manu Returns
The best debut actor (male) went to Vicky Kaushal for Masaan and the best debut actor (female) went to Bhumi Pednekar for Dum Laga Ke Haisha. The best debut couple was Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty for Hero.

The award for best story and best dialogue went to Juhi Chaturvedi for Piku.
The best playback singer (female) is Monali Thakur for Moh Moh Ke Dhaage and the Best Singer (male) award went to Papon for the same song.
Bajirao Mastani, which bagged the most number of awards in the evening, also won the award for cinematography, production design, choreography, action, sound design, song engineer, background score, special effects and costume designing.
Kabir Khan, Parveez Shaikh and Vijayendra Prasad won the award for Best Screenplay for Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Sreekar Prasad won the award for Best Editing for Talvar. The award for best sound mixing went to Ajay Kumar PB for Badlapur.
Actor Priyanka Chopra was honoured with a special award titled, ‘Woman Of The Year’.
