Telugu actor Bellamkonda Sreenivas will reportedly soon make his Hindi debut in a film produced by his father Bellamkonda Suresh. The director of the project is yet to be announced.
According to a report by Tollywood, producer Suresh announced on Monday that they were approached with a strong script for a Hindi film starring Sreenivas, and work on the movie will begin soon. He was speaking at a press meet for Bellamkonda’s latest film Rakshasudu, the Telugu remake of Raatchasan.
The actor has a huge following in north India and most of his movies also get dubbed in Hindi. “I have a very good market in Hindi. That’s why I keep the Hindi audience in mind while doing films. In terms of views on YouTube, Kavacham has done extremely well. After Allu Arjun, it’s my films which do very well in Hindi,” he said, according to a report in Telugu Cinema.com.
Director Ramesh Varma’s Rakshasudu, co-starring Anupama Parameswaran in the lead, opened to good reviews on August 2 and reportedly grossed Rs 6.8 crores worldwide in the opening weekend alone. The psychological thriller featured music by Ghibran, and was a straight remake of the original film starring Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul. It was ranked one of the best movies in Tamil last year.

Earlier in 2019, the actor was seen in Sita, directed by Teja, starring Kajal Aggarwal in the lead. It was reported that director Teja approached him with two scripts and he instantly signed up for Sita, while his father, producer Suresh, liked the other script. Unconfirmed reports said he may sing up for the second movie in the future.
Bellamkonda made his film debut with Alludu Seenu by VV Vinayak and 2014, for which he won Best Debut Actor at the Filmfare Awards. He later acted in Speedunnodu, Jaya Janaki Nayaka, Saakshyam and Kavacham.
