Malayalam actress Bhavana will marry her fiancé, Kannada film producer Naveen, in October this year. Speaking to the Times of India, the actress’ mother confirmed the news, adding that it would be a simple affair with close friends and family only.
“The wedding is fixed for October 27 , and it will be held at Thrissur, our native place. We will be inviting our close relatives, friends and neighbours, but will be selective. Her close friends (from the industry) will be invited but Bhavana will decide all that. She will be back from Scotland by the end of May. Her brother also needs to make some time to discuss things,” she said.
Bhavana and Naveen were engaged in the second week of March. The private ceremony went public after a picture of the couple – along with Malayalam actors Manju Warrier and Samyuktha Verma – was leaked online.
The two have known each other for almost five years, and their wedding had been postponed twice due to the demise of family members. Naveen lost his mother, while Bhavana lost her father a few years ago.

The couple met on the sets of the Kannada movie Romeo in 2012. Naveen was the producer of the movie while Bhavana was the female lead. Since then, reports of the two being in a relationship had surfaced.
Bhavana is currently shooting for Adam Joan with Prithviraj Sukumaran in Scotland. She also has Adventures of Omanakuttan in the pipeline.
