Director Kalyankrishnan’s Bhooloham, which has been lying the cans for a long time now, has landed in trouble again. The Hindu has reported that the Indian Overseas Bank has called for a Debt Recovery Tribunal as the movie as producer Aascar Ravichandran failed to pay Rs 40 crores.
When the movie’s release was announced, IOB declared that Aascar Ravichandran must repay the debt before releasing the film. The Tribunal has also announced that the movie or the audio must not be released on any medium.
Written by director SP Jhananathan, this film has Jayam Ravi and Trisha in the lead roles with Prakash Raj, Narayan, Nathan Jones, Arpit Ranka, Ponvannan and Shanmugarajan in supporting roles. Bhooloham has music scored by Srikanth Deva.
