Mumtaj, Mahat Raghavendra, Janani Iyer, radio personalities Mamathi Chari and Vaishnavi are the latest entrants to the Bigg Boss house. The second season of the reality show premiered over the weekend and boasts an eclectic mix of artists.

Actor Ponnambalam, reality show judge Ananth Vaidhyanathan, comedian ‘Thadi’ Balaji, Sendrayan, Daniel Anne Pope are also part of the second season. Shariq Khan, son of actors Riaz Khan and Uma Riaz, was the surprise addition to the cast along with actor Oviya, who was a part of the first season. Oviya will participate as a guest and will not compete, the show’s host Kamal Haasan announced.
Singer Ramya NSK, Madras fame Riythvika, Aishwarya Dutta are also a part of the season.
Nithya, the estranged wife of comedian Balaji, is a contestant as well. Nithya had earlier accused Balaji of abuse and has filed complaints against the actor with the Tamil Nadu Police.
Powerstar Sreenivasan was rumoured to be one of the contestants. However, that did not materialise.
