The movie Brasil is the first in the series of a sports-themed trilogy to be directed by Amjath. Produced under his home banner Meeran Pictures, the film follows a group of young football fanatics who live under a bridge. They have very few material possessions, but the one that they treasure the most is a poster of their hero, Ronaldinho. The promotional posters of the movie were released recently, to co-incide with the FIFA World Cup in Brasil.
Director Amjath plays one of the leads while stunt master Silva has a prominent role as well. According to the movie’s spokesperson, there are three main villains in this football flick and each villain will have a flashback sequence.
Guru Prasad, a software professional, has composed music, while VJ Bhavna has lent her voice to a unique promo song. Amjath, Vijay Raghavan and Omar have penned the story, Yoga Bhaskar takes care of the editing and Silva will chip in with the stunt direction.
