Salman Khan security

The Mumbai Police have said that the assault case on Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera is false. During the course of their investigation, the Police said they did not find any evidence to show that Shera and his aides beat up the complainant.

According to a story in Asian Age, Dhanaji Nalawade, senior police inspector, of the D.N. Nagar Police Station in Andheri, said, “This was a false case registered by the complainant, and in the course of six months, there were no proofs to support the allegations. Hence, we are going to file a ‘B Summary’ report which says that there was no evidence found against Shera.”

The report will be submitted shortly in an Andheri magistrate’s court. The police also said that CCTV footage of the area did not corroborate with the complainant’s version of events.

In October last year, Akhtar Quereshi of Andheri filed a complaint against Gurmeet Singh, a.k.a Shera, Salman Khan’s personal security guard. In the complaint, Akhtar said that Shera and four friends had assaulted him when a verbal argument escalated.
