Chandhini has replaced actress Pooja Devariya in Raja Ranguski. According to a Times of India report the decision was made as Pooja wasn’t well, “The team shot a few important scenes in the city, with Sirish and Pooja. However, the Iraivi star was required to take rest as she wasn’t keeping well. As the makers didn’t want to delay the shoot for a few days, they roped in Chandini as the female lead. The team is now looking forward to complete the shoot in two months.”
Raja Ranguski has Sirish (Metro) as the male lead. This is director Dharani Dharan’s third feature film. He debuted in 2014 with the quirky gangster comedy Burma, followed by last year’s Jackson Durai.
