The film is produced by Pareeth NS under the Nayath Film Productions banner with Saiju Vathukodath serving as the production controller. The film’s screenplay is written by Thomas Malakkaran.

Speaking to Silvercreen India, Geetha, who is making her directorial debut with the film said that Chandrika Vilasam 102 will be a family entertainer. “The film is set in two timelines. In one part of the film, the protagonist will be in his early thirties and in the other he will be a 45-year-old. The story is about how the lead character named Chandran who was once a Goonda changes into a better person. We have incorporated elements of love and family sentiments in this film,” she added.

About the shoot and cast, Geetha said that the team is planning to begin filming by the end of this month. “We are currently in the final stage of pre-production and the film will be shot in parts of Ernakulam and Pollachi in Tamil Nadu. Details about the film’s lead actors will be announced in the coming days. Besides, the film will also feature actors Saju Navodaya, Sajin Palluruthy, Binu Adimali, Shivaji Guruvayoor and Ponnamma Babu in supporting roles,” Geetha added.

The film’s technical crew includes cinematographer Murali Krishna, music composer Hamsa Kunnathery, pilot sound recorder Nithin B Molickal and chief associate director Prashant B Molickal, among others.

Geetha also said that she had earlier produced a short film and was looking for an opportunity to direct a feature film. “That’s when I got in touch with Pareeth, an NRI who was also looking to produce a film. So while looking for scripts, our production controller Saiju introduced writer Thomas who had a bunch of story ideas. And we selected Chandrika Vilasam 102 as the concept was really exciting,” Geetha said.
