Megastar Chiranjeevi and son Ram Charan will likely star together in a new film. This comes post the success of Khaidi No 150, a hit film that saw Chiranjeevi back on screens after a 10 year gap.

Details on the dual-hero movie is yet to be released. In a report in Deccan Chronicle, an industry insider believes the the movie could boost Ram Charan’s career. “Ram Charan’s career needs some fresh blood and Chiru’s record-breaking movie after a 10-year gap has become an eye-opener to him. Even when Chiranjeevi appears in a song with Ram Charan, audience go wild. It’s time the two generations come together and a project is being planned with the duo,” the report said.
We have seen similar trends in Bollywood, with Paa which stared Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, and Apne, Yamla Pagla Deewana, starring Dharmendra and his sons, the Deol brothers.
Ram Charan was last seen essaying the role of a rough and tough cop in Dhruva. The slick action thriller saw a long run at the box office.
