Louis CK Accused Of Sexual Misconduct By Five Women
Stand-up comedian and writer Louis CK has been accused of masturbating in front of women and other sexually inappropriate behaviour by five women so far. The New York Times spoke to the women who described his behaviour as “abuse”.
In 2002, a Chicago comedy duo, Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov, had been invited to CK’s hotel room after a show. However, as soon as they sat down in his room, CK proceeded to remove his clothes and started to masturbate in front of them.
In 2003, writer and actress Abby Schachner called him over the phone to invite him for her show. She distinctly remembers him masturbating while over the phone.
In 2005, another comedian, Rebecca Corry, said that while she was appearing with CK on a television pilot, he asked if he could masturbate in front of her.
Reports about CK’s behaviour surfaces merely days after the names of powerful men accused of sexual misconduct have been doing the rounds. Right from Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein to the recent Kevin Spacey, the list continues to grow.
So far, after the women spoke up about CK’s behaviour on Thursday, HBO said that the comedian will no longer be part of a comedy benefit that it plans to broadcast on November 18. FX, the cable channel that broadcasts Louie, the comedian’s Emmy-winning series, as well as other series involving him, said Thursday that it was “very troubled” by the report and was reviewing the matter.

Now, Rajwar has reportedly sent him a legal notice and has demanded a compensation of Rs 2 crore for tarnishing her image. A Deccan Chronicle report quotes the actress of being wrongly portrayed as someone who “drove” him to suicide at one point.
