CV Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment announced three new movies yesterday. The production house will be bankrolling Ravikumar’s Indru Netru Naalai, Kai Neelam by Nalan Kumarasamy and Iraivi by Karthik Subbaraj. INN has Vishnu Vishal and Karunakaran in pivotal roles and will feature the music of Hip Hop Tamizha as we had reported earlier. KE Gnanavel Raja is co-producing the project for Studio Green.

Nalan’s much-anticipated second film, Kai Neelam is a sequel to his debut movie Soodhu Kavvum, and will be produced jointly by CV Kumar and Abi and Abi Pictures. Dinesh Krishnan handles cinematography and the movie will go on floors on December 12. Karthik Subbaraj’s Iraivi will also begin around the same time and will have the cinematography of Gavemic U Ary who earned rave reviews for his work in Jigarthanda.
Interestingly, Santhosh Narayanan will be composing music for both films while Leo John Paul handles editing for all three projects.
