British actress Daisy Edgar Jones has opted of SS Rajamoulis’s upcoming film RRR starring Ram Charan and NTR Jr. Ram Charan has injured his ankle forcing the team to cancel the next schedule of the film.
The makers announced on Twitter that Daisy Edgar Jones could no longer be part of the film.

The makers had announced her participation last month. The actress was supposed to play the second female lead in the film.

In spite of the move, the team has managed to complete the Gujarat schedule of the movie. However, Ram Charan’s injury, that happened two days back, has forced the team to call off the Pune schedule of the movie. The injury occurred while the actor was working out in the gym. The shoot will now resume after three weeks.

Meanwhile, the makers have also invited suggestions for the title of the movie. Though RRR was initially announced as the working title, the makers have adopted it as the official title.

During a press meet organized by the makers in Hyderabad in March, it was announced that the Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt will be part of the movie. According to a note put out by the makers, the film is set in the 1920s and is a fictitious account of the lives of Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem. The movie will showcase their lives before they became freedom fighters.
The film was announced last year, and shoot began on November 18. The movie is made on a rumoured budget of Rs 300 crores. It is produced by DVV Danayya. KK Senthil Kumar is the cinematographer, Sabu Cyril is the art director, and MM Keeravani is the music composer. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, who regularly collaborates with the director, is the editor for the film. The director’s father Vijayendra Rao is the screenwriter.
The movie is slated to release on July 30, 2020.
