Dhanush may have an extended cameo in actor Rajinikanth’s next project with Kaabali director Pa Ranjith, Kaala.
A spokesperson for Dhanush told Silverscreen, “Dhanush is currently busy completing his schedule for the movie and will be back to India only by July. Nothing has been confirmed so far and I cannot comment anything right now on his involvement apart from bankrolling the project”
According to reports, however, Dhanush could play the younger version of Rajinikanth’s character.

Dhanush is currently in Belgium shooting for his Hollywood movie, The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir Who Got Trapped In An Ikea Cupboard, which stars Uma Thurman and Alexandra Daddario.
Meanwhile, the first look of Kaala was released online and has garnered a positive response from both fans and critics. Kaala stars Rajinikanth and Huma Qureshi, with Samuthirakani and Anjali Patil playing pivotal roles. The music will be composed by Santhosh Narayanan and G Murali will handle the cinematography.
