One of the Kollywood’s most successful duo actor Dhanush-director Vetrimaaran recently announced their next film, Asuran with its first look in which Dhanush is seen with tobacco tainted teeth. No sooner was the film announced that speculations began on who will be composing the music for the film.

Earlier, it was expected that music director Yuvan Shankar Raja would be the composer. However, there is also a talk that music director GV Prakash will sign up for Asuran. This would mean a return of the Dhanush-GV Prakash collaboration after a gap of 8 years. The two were in a rift for unknown reasons after the movie Aadukalam.  It seems things have settled down for both with time. Dhanush recently sang a song for the GV Prakash-starrer Jail, directed by Vasantha Balan. There isn’t any official  announcement from the team regarding the composer for Vetrimaaran’s film yet.
