Dilip Kumar Will Be In The ICU For Next Three Days

Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar, who has been hospitalised for dehydration and kidney-related ailments at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai since last week, will reportedly be kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for the next three days. According to a PTI News report, the 94-year-old actor’s condition has shown signs of improvement.

“Today he has no fever, no breathlessness. He is conscious, the creatinine levels have come down as compared to yesterday. Due to his age, he is under observation and will be in the ICU for two-three days depending on how his body responds,” Ajaykumar Pandey, Vice President of Lilavati Hospital told PTI.

The veteran actor was admitted on Wednesday, and reports till Thursday night said his condition had worsened. Some updates said he had been put on ventilator support.

However, on Friday, doctors treating him clarified that he was not on ventilator support and neither was his condition unstable. The actor’s creatinine and potassium levels were rising and the haemoglobin level was decreasing, they added.
