Director Hari received a bomb threat recently. According to reports, a row over parking space between Hari and his neighbours escalated into something far more dire yesterday. During the course of the argument, Karuppasamy and Karthik, neighbours of Hari, allegedly said that they might ‘throw a bomb on his house in Virugambakkam’.
After this incident, Hari filed a police complaint at the Virugambakkam Police station against the neighbours. A complaint under Section 75 has been filed.
A spokesperson for Hari was unwilling to comment on the matter and said, “We have filed a case. But we are not willing to divulge any more information”.

This is not the first time the director has been on the receiving end of threats. In 2010, the director filed a police complaint when his brother received threatening phone calls.
At present, Director Hari is working on Surya starrer Singham-3. He will also be working with actor Vikram in his next project which will be a sequel to the 2003 hit movie, Saamy.
