Director Hari and Suriya will team up once again. This time around, the duo will work on a ‘completely new script’ and not Singam 4, as rumoured.
A spokesperson for Hari told Silverscreen, “Director Hari is at present concentrating on Saamy 2, with Vikram and Trisha. After filming is done, he will move on to the discussion for the new film with Suriya. This will have a new script and a new set of actors and artists.”
The new project will likely be produced by Studio Green’s KA Gnanavel Raja.

Shortly after the release of Si 3, Suriya revealed that Singam 4 was on the cards. “Hari and I will reunite for Singam 4. It is definitely on the cards. But we might do a film before that. We will do Singam 4, say, after five years.”
Si 3 released earlier this year to mixed reviews. It did not fare as well as its previous installments, and this is likely to have influenced Hari’s decision to not pursue the 4th film immediately.
