Rana Daggubati has condemned director Suraj for his recent sexist comments about actresses. Through his official Twitter account, Daggubati wrote:

The director had said in a recent interview that heroines must dress in provocative clothing for films. His remarks were widely shared on social media, and as a result, the director received much flak.

Actresses Nayanthara and Tamannaah Bhatia criticised the director through their social media accounts. Actor Vishal, the male lead of Suraj’s Kaththi Sandai, also slammed Suraj.

Director Suraj has apologised for his actions. He has said that he will take care to act responsibly from now on.
