Filmmaker Puri Jagannadh, who is known to import most of his heroines from Bollywood, has done it again for his new film with actor Varun Tej. Model-turned-actress Disha Patani has been roped in to play the female lead in the project, which is set to go on floors this month.
Puri was supposed to shoot this film with Nithiin Reddy. But due to unknown reasons, the latter walked out of the project, much to the astonishment of everybody because the duo had seemed really excited about working together again.
C. Kalyan will be producing the film, which Puri hopes to wrap up in less than 50 days so that he can start Chiranjeevi’s 150th film from August. Meanwhile, Puri-directed Jyothi Lakshmi, which features Charmme Kaur in the lead, releases in cinemas today.
