DJ’s Lawsuit Against Taylor Swift Dismissed

A court in Denver, Colorado, dismissed DJ David Mueller’s lawsuit against Taylor Swift. Mueller alleged that he’d lost his job because Swift had wrongfully accused him of sexual assault. Swift counter sued for a symbolic $1, as she did not want to profit off the case. She also said that she was doing this as an example for young victims of sexual assault around the world.

On Friday, Swift’s bodyguard, Greg Dent, testified against Mueller and said that he witnessed the alleged assault. Mueller is said to have groped Swift during a photo-op at a concert in 2013.

Dent told the court he was steps away when Mueller posed with his girlfriend and the pop star.

“She reacted, pushed her skirt down and moved over closer to [Mueller’s girlfriend]. So in my opinion, I knew he touched her,” he said.

Earlier this week, Swift and her mother, Andrea, testified in front of the court. Andrea said that she felt like throwing up when she heard about the assault.
