Esther Anil, best known for her role as the younger daughter in Jeethu Joseph’s Drishyam and the subsequent Tamil and Telugu versions of the film, will soon make her debut as a lead actress in noted filmmaker Shaji N Karun’s film. The 15-year-old actress will reportedly star alongside Malayalam actor Shine Nigam.
According to a Deccan Chronicle report, it is a woman-oriented film.

Esther, who recently graduated from Class 10, will also play the female lead in Gemini, another Malayalam film. In that, she shares screen-space with Renji Panicker. She has also signed two other Tamil movies – Kuzhali directed by Chera Kalaiyarasan, and Firefly.
Esther, who recently shifted to Kochi from Wayanad to prepare for acting career and academics, made her on screen debut as a child artiste in Aji John’s Nallavan in 2010. She has since appeared in nearly 20 other Malayalam films.
