Dulquer Salmaan is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Ronnie Screwvala’s next production, which stars Irrfan Khan. Shooting is expected to begin by August-end in Kerala.

According to a report in the Mumbai Mirror, “It is a comedy film in which Dulquer and Irrfan will be seen as friends of a road trip. Akash Khurana, who has co-written the script with Hussain Dalal, the dialogue writer for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and 2 States will be making his directorial debut with this venture. Mithila Palkar, who is popular for her work in web series like Girl In The City and Little Things, has been roped in to play the female lead. Abhishek Bachchan, who was first approached for Dulquer’s role, has to opt out due to his prior commitment to JP Dutta’s comeback film Paltan.”
Dulquer has a few other films in the pipeline. Bejoy Nambiar’s Tamil-Malayalam bilingual Solo and the Malayalam film Parava are up for release. He is also filming for the Gemini Ganesan biopic, Mahanati, which is being made in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. He is also working on another Malayalam film, Oru Bhayankara Kamukhan.
