Kannada actor Duniya Vijay is expected to make his Telugu debut soon in the Jr NTR movie, Jai Lava Kusa, reported the Deccan Chronicle. Duniya Vijay will play the villain.

According to a source quoted in the report, the film’s director Bobby and producer Kalyan Ram were searching for a new face to play the negative role, and felt Duniya Vijay would be perfect.
Earlier, the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce had issued a temporary ban on Duniya Vijay, after two stuntmen drowned to death last year during the shoot for his last movie, Mastigudi. The stuntmen jumped from a helicopter into a stream and drowned. They weren’t equipped with life-jackets as they jumped unlike Duniya Vijay, who had jumped alongside them and was wearing a life-jacket. Mastigudi is yet to release.
