Incidentally, this isn’t Jeethu’s first association with Hindi cinema. The director’s Malayalam crime drama Drishyam (Papanasam in Tamil) was remade in Hindi starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu.
Best known for his crime dramas, Jeethu’s last film was Aadhi starring Mohanlal’s 27-year-old son Pranav Mohanlal. The film is about a young man who dreams about making a career in music, but gets accused of murder.
