G V Prakash Kumar, with his college-boy looks, will be putting his best feature to use in Trisha Illana Nayanthara. While he’s currently awaiting the release of Pencil – in which he debuts as an actor – GVP is already ready to work on his next venture. Set to go on floors next week, Trisha Illana Nayanthara, which is touted to be a romantic entertainer, will feature the composer-turned-actor as an MGR fan; and will supposedly revolve around his college life. GVP has also done a makeover for this movie, and currently sports a moustache and a beard.
Directed by debutant Adhik Ravichandran, the flick stars Anandhi of Kayal fame and actress Shrishti. Rebel Studios is producing this film while G V Prakash Kumar himself is composing music.
Fun fact: Apparently, the ‘illana’ in the title stands for Ileana D’Cruz.
