Ghibran will be the music director for actress Jyothika’s next film with director G Bramma. The film will be produced by Suriya under his banner 2D Entertainment. “The album would have a contemporary feel to it on the whole, and each of the five songs will have important themes with women’s empowerment at its core,” Ghibran told Silverscreen. Lyricists Thamarai and Vivek are on board, he added.

The production of the film kickstarted with acting rehearsals last week, and director Bramma said that he hopes to keep the subject of the film under wraps. Bhanupriya, Urvashi, Saranya Ponvannan and Livingston have been signed on to play important roles in the film, akthough it is still unclear if Suriya would act too.
Jyothika, who was on a break after her wedding to Suriya, made a comeback last year with 36 Vayadhinile, directed by Roshan Andrews. She garnered positive reviews for the film and also won the Filmfare award for Best Actress (Critics) for her performance.
Director Bramma’s debut film Kuttram Kadithal won the National Award for Best Tamil Language Feature film in 2015, along with several awards and accolades at International Film Festivals.
