The teaser of Godse was released by actor Chiranjeevi on social media recently.

Speaking about the film produced by C Kalyan under the CK Screens banner, director Gopi Ganesh Pattabhi, says, “Godse is about the current employment system. Satya Dev plays the role of businessman, while Aishwarya essays a police official and Sijju Menon stars as the antagonist.”

Besides directing the film, Pattabhi has also written the story, screenplay, and dialogues.

“I had come across an article sometime back which said that only about 6.3% of well-educated people are getting employment opportunities matching their qualifications. The rest are working in jobs that are in no way related to their education. This film will talk about this in relation to political, environmental, and education systems,” he adds.

“My own family has about 25 people who have completed their Masters and yet, they are not in the right positions. This got me thinking and led me to do this film. I wrote the story in 2019,” says the filmmaker.

Godse marks the second collaboration between Satyadev and Pattabhi after the 2018 Telugu heist comedy thriller, Bluff Master.
