Noted actress Gouthami Tadimella confirmed today that she will be designing costumes for Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain. Speaking from the sets of the movie in Bangalore, she said, ” I’m very excited to be working on this movie. As you might be aware, the movie has two distinct time lines. It will definitely be very challenging to design everything according to the mood and themes of the era, but I’m confident that I will pull it off”. Gouthami, who had also designed costumes for Vishwaroopam and its sequel, was earlier rumored to have been offered a role in the film which features Kamal Haasan in dual roles.
The movie also has veteran director K Balachander in a special appearance, with music by M Ghibran and cinematography by Shyam Dutt. The first schedule of the movie will be completed by the end of this month, and reports suggest that the movie will be released in July.
