GV Prakash has sung his first Hindi song in Anurag Kashyap’s Ugly, for which he has also composed music. In an interview to Deccan Chronicle, Prakash said that he has lent his voice for the song Suraj Hain Kahan, the opening number in the film. Prakash added that it’s a beautiful song and that he looks forward to seeing it on screen.
Talking about working with Anurag Kashyap for the second time – the first being Gangs of Wasseypur – Prakash said that Anurag had promised to work with him in his next film and he was glad that the latter honoured his promise.
