GV Prakash’s upcoming acting projects Sivappu Manjal Pachai and 100 Percent Kaadhal are likely to release on the same day, on September 6.
The makers of 100 Percent Kaadhal announced the release date earlier this month. Reports speculate that Sivappu Manjal Pachai, which completed shoot and is in post-production stages, will also release on the same day.

GV Prakash and Shalini Pandey star in 100 Percent Kaadhal, the Tamil remake of the Naga Chaitanya-starrer 100 Percent Love. The film, about stereotypes in a romantic relationship, was a huge hit when it released in 2011. The Tamil version is directed by Chandramouli and reportedly largely has the same story, with Shalini Pandey reprising Tamannaah’s part, and actor Satish in an important role.
The film began in October 2017 but faced delays due to the actors’ other commitments. It completed shoot in mid-2018 and the filmmakers wanted a release during Valentine’s Day this year but it was further postponed as GV Prakash had a number of other films scheduled.
GV Prakash’s much awaited Sivappu Manjal Pachai with Siddharth, directed by Sasi who made Pichaikaran, was recently censored with U certificate. Siddharth plays a traffic cop and GV Prakash is a bike racer. Malayalam actress Lijomol Jose and Kashmira Pardeshi are also a part of the the film.

The romantic comedy also stars YouTube’s Nakkalites star Dhanam, and Madhusudanan. Music is by Siddhu Kumar, editing by San Lokesh, and cinematography is by Prasanna S Kumar.
GV Prakash is busy with multiple acting and music projects currently. Ayngaran and Adangathey is in post-production, and shoot for Jail, his film with Vasanthabalan is on. He also has 4G, Kadhalai Thedi Nithya Nandha, Kadhalikka Yarumillai and Aayiram Jenmangal in the pipeline. Latest reports say he has signed a new film with Satish, a former assistant of director Sasi. Official announcements are awaited.
As a composer, he recently completed the much-awaited Asuran music album with Dhanush and director Vetrimaaran. He has also signed up for the Suriya-starrer Soorarai Pottru, and will compose for his upcoming acting projects as well.
