Hansika was speculated to have been unhappy about Meagamann. It was rumoured that the actress was portrayed in a raunchy manner, and had to sport scanty clothing in one of the songs. Hansika didn’t participate in the press meet that was conducted recently. However, she recently dismissed rumours by tweeting that she is happy about how the film has shaped up.

Directed by Magizh Thirumeni of Thadaiyara Thaakka, Meagamann has Arya in the lead. Speaking at the press meet, Magizh Thirumeni told us that the film doesn’t portray women in bad light. “The film is a family entertainer. I’m a feminist and so, I will ensure women are always treated well in my films,” he said.
