Bollywood actor Harshvardhan Kapoor, who will soon make his acting debut with Mirzya, has already signed two other films. The latest project to have the actor on board is Badlapur fame director Sriram Raghavan’s next. The movie is about a musician who fakes his blindness. Actress Tabu has been signed on for a major role in the film.
The movie is scheduled to start shooting this December. A source from the team told Deccan Chronicle, “Sriram wants to start at the end of the year. But Harshvardhan won’t start another film until he completes Bhavesh Joshi.”
Harshvardhan’s debut movie Mirzya is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The movie is said to be an epic love drama inspired by the Punjabi folklore of Mirza Sahiban. The movie is scheduled for an October 7 release.
Meanwhile, the actor has also signed his second project titled, Bhavesh Joshi. The actor is currently occupied with this movie’s shooting. Director Vikramaditya Motwane is at the helm of this project. Phantom Studios will bankroll the film.

Interestingly both the movies were offered to the actor years back. But the actor denied the offers. When Mirzya was offered to him two years back, he rejected the offer since he wanted to pursue film making. After working as an assistant director with Anurag Kashyap in Bombay Velvet, the actor came around and accepted the offer.
Bhavesh Doshi was also offered to him a few years back and the actor denied it since he felt he was “too young and inexperienced” for the part. The role was then offered to Imran Khan and Siddharth Malhotra, before being offered once again to Harshavardhan.
