Dharmendra, who was admitted to a private hospital in Mumbai earlier this week, is now recovering well. He was hospitalised after complaining of uneasiness and pain, and was subsequently diagnosed with food poisoning.
His wife Hema Malini issued a press statement saying that he would soon be out of the hospital. She said, “Dharamji is doing well. Proper treatment and care is being provided to him, and he is responding properly to it. He will be discharged soon.”
Dharmendra’s son and actor Sunny Deol also tweeted to thank fans for their wishes. He also requested them to steer clear of speculations about his health.
