Television star Hiten Tejwani will make his digital debut with Eros Now’s new show The Investigation. The show is set to air on January 6.
Hiten Tejwani is best known for his roles in television serials like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kuthumb and Pavitra Rishta. However, the ex-Bigg Boss contestant will be playing the role of a Mumbai Crime Branch ACP in the new show. The show is a murder mystery, reports Televisionpost.
Tejwani, while talking about his role, said: “I am glad to make my digital debut with The Investigation. The show exposes a murder mystery and revolves around my role of an ACP officer. The several twists and turns in the plot interested me to be a part of the crime thriller and it was a different and enjoyable experience shooting for this short-format content. I am sure audiences will be glued to the show and enjoy watching it as much as we did filming it.”
The Investigation is the third show by Eros Now after Date Gone Wrong and Paisa Fek Tamasha Dekh. The company has been marketing these digital shows under their Eros New Quickie.
Eros Group chief content officer Ridhima Lulla spoke about her company’s new show. “With the Quickie offering, we are creating high-quality short-form programming that engages and enhances the viewer experience. ‘The Investigation’ is a series with a riveting narrative that promises to capture audiences on the go.”
Leela Jumani plays Tejwani’s wife in the show. The show will be aired as nine episodes. Hitesh Tejwani took to social media to share the first look poster of the show.
