Hrithik Roshan Wraps Up First Schedule of ‘Vikram Vedha’ Hindi Remake in Abu Dhabi

The Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha, starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan, has wrapped its first shooting schedule in Abu Dhabi with Roshan. The team is all set to begin the second one in Lucknow with Khan.

The film is slated to release worldwide on September 30, 2022.

According to a press release, the film’s first schedule in Abu Dhabi lasted for 27 days. Directors Pushkar and Gayatri, who also directed the original, said, “We are delighted to be working with Hrithik and Saif – two great actors. With a superb team around us, we hope to deliver a film that will be intense and exciting.”

The film will also feature actor Radhika Apte in a pivotal role.

Vikram Vedha is a neo-noir crime thriller about a righteous police officer, Vikram, and a gangster named Vedha. The 2017 Tamil original featured actors R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead, while Shraddha Srinath, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Kathir were part of the supporting cast.

The Hindi version of Vikram Vedha is presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series Films, and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks and YNOT Studios Production. The film is directed by Pushkar & Gayatri and produced by S Sashikanth.
