Humans Of Bombay Post Shines Spotlight On Sunny Leone’s Love Story With Husband Daniel Weber

Sunny Leone At The Launch Of Digital Platform Zee5 Originals

Humans of Bombay’s recent post is to dedicated to Sunny Leone who shared the story of the day she met her husband, Daniel Weber and how they eventually got their ‘violin moment’ after hours of small talk.

The post, which was published earlier this week, places the focus firmly on Leone’s personal life and lesser-known side of the actress. Thus far, stories about her tend to focus more on her past as an adult star. She says,

We met through Daniel’s band mate at a club in Vegas. He says it was love at first sight, not for me though, because all we did was make small talk– there weren’t any floating hearts or violins. But somehow he got my number and email ID.

What I liked though, is that he didn’t call me but emailed me instead — that’s how we started talking. Coincidentally, I was going to New York, where he lived… when he emailed me saying, ‘You’re never going to give me your number, are you?’ Which is when I gave in and he asked me out.

I was late for our first date. But like a gentleman, he waited patiently.

When I finally reached and we started talking — there was the violin moment.

Leone says that the ‘sensitive and considerate’ Weber made it a point to be there for her as well as her family. Sometimes, the actor would wake up crying in the middle of the night.

He didn’t try to fix the situation. He was just present and that’s all that mattered. I knew then that he was the one, but it was his turn to make me wait.

Leone and Weber have been together for seven years and nothing has changed, the actor says.

He supports every dream of mine like it’s his own– he makes me believe that anything is possible. And when we’re all together, the kids, me and Danny making us breakfast…life itself is a dream, one I can’t believe I’m living.

Sunny Leone and Weber have three kids together – Nisha, Noah and Asher. She recently donated Rs 5 Crore towards Kerala flood relief.
