The film is almost complete – the talkie portions are over – and only a song is left to be canned. An immense set has been constructed in the city for this purpose, and the song will be completed in 3-4 days, confirmed the publicist.
With post-production work yet to begin on the magnum opus, it is starting to look highly unlikely that the film will get ready in time for its intended release date.

In a recent interview, the film’s director, Shankar had also implied that it would be better if I got a ‘solo release’, and that pitting it against Kaththi and Poojai will prove to be risky. While the producer insisted that the film is still up for release on Deepavali, industry insiders are a little skeptical. “The film needs some EFX work and this would take some 15 days at least,” said a source close to Shankar.
