Director Shankar’s I was supposed to release this Deepavali. However, in an interview to The Times of India, producer Aascar Ravichandran has revealed that I will hit theatres by the end of November. He further added that the dubbing for Hindi and Telugu versions are being done at a brisk pace, and that AR Rahman is currently working on the re-recording.
The report also states that I will release in 20,000 theatres. Jackie Chan will participate in the Telugu audio launch and Sylvester Stallone will attend the premiere in the US.
I features Vikram and Amy Jackson in lead roles, while Upen Patel, Santhanam, and Suresh Gopi round up the supporting cast.
