Director Seenu Ramasamy’s long-in-the-making film, Idam Porul Eval, is facing financial trouble. According to reports, actor Vijay Sethupathi, who had agreed to work in the film for a reduced salary, has not been paid by the Idam Porul Eval team. It is said that Vijay Sethupathi is ‘being calm’ because director Seenu Ramasamy was the one who had introduced him in Thenmerku Paruvakatru.
The post-production work for the movie is currently on, and the makers have decided to release it by next month. Vijay Sethupathi, who has been called to finish his dubbing portions, is said to have pleaded with the makers to pay at least Rs 10 lakhs from his salary. However, the official word on the issue is awaited.
