Ileana D’Cruz has called out a fan who harassed her recently. She tweeted that while she may be a public figure, she is still a woman and men don’t have the right to assault her.
The actress, who is currently travelling to promote her latest release Badsaaho, along with Ajay Devgn, Esha Gupta, and others, was groped by a fan among the crowd. Hindustan Times reports that the actress immediately schooled the fan. Later, she also tweeted her despair over such behaviour.
It’s a pretty shitty world we live in. I’m a public figure. I understand that I don’t have the luxury of a private & an anonymous life.(1/2)

But that doesn’t give any man the right to misbehave with me. Don’t confuse “fan antics” with that. I am a WOMAN at the end of the day.(2/2)

Last week, actress Esha Gupta slammed online trolls for slut shaming her after she posted some of her photographs on Instagram. She told The Times of India, “And who are these people who have ‘issues’ with my pictures? It’s my body and it’s been shot aesthetically… Men tend to have a problem if a woman goes bold. Their manhood is challenged.”
Earlier, Swara Bhaskar had talked about the time she was harassed and physically assaulted while on tour for Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo.
