Composer A.H. Kaashif, nephew of AR Rahman in a press statement said he considers AR Rahman more as a teacher and mentor than as an uncle. “After working in so many films with my uncle (AR Rahman), I started to upload songs independently on Youtube and that is how G Dhananjayan approached me for the film. It was easy to compose the background score for the first half, but the second half was tougher. It features scenes that express a lot of emotions and moods, and I am determined to deliver good music for it,” he said
“After this, I will be composing for a Malayalam film titled Padhinettam Padi produced by Axis Cinemas,” Kaashif added.
Sources say the audio launch of the film will happen next week in Chennai. Kaatrin Mozhi was initially slated to be released on October 18, but will now release in November, after the release of biggies like Sarkar and Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta.
